These draft videos use recreated screens and fictional examples, with on-screen instructions and music, not spoken narration. Sample dates, counts and document pages are illustrative. Written steps below each video provide the complete instructions.

Sign in and find your way

1:05 · Video walkthrough
  1. Open bbrcportal.org. Enter your member email and select Email me a sign-in code.
  2. Check your inbox, return to the portal, enter the Email code, and select Sign in. No email login link or password is needed. Use Resend code if the code has expired; use Different email to correct the address.
  3. Alternatively, select Sign in with Microsoft (Outlook) or Sign in with Google (Gmail). Use the account recognized for your club access.
  4. Home contains club updates, meetings and deadlines, assigned areas, and recent documents. Use Club areas to open a committee, Documents for files, Directory for member contact details, and Reports for available reports.
  5. You see only your assigned areas. View-only access does not allow editing. Administration is for administrators. Select Sign out when finished, especially on a shared device.

Create a new member welcome packet

1:09 · Video walkthrough
  1. Sign in with Membership access. Open Club areas → Membership → Tools → New Member Welcome Packet.
  2. Enter New member name and Date. The date starts as today; change it if needed. Only these two fields personalize the letter, and the salutation uses the first name.
  3. Select Create welcome packet. The original collateral PDF must already be available in Membership documents. If it is missing, ask the Membership committee to restore it.
  4. When the packet is ready, select Review PDF. Check the name, date, welcome letter, and every collateral page. The actual page count depends on the source packet.
5. Select Download PDF to save the combined packet. On supported phones, sharing options may appear instead. Print or distribute it yourself; creating a packet does not email it or grant membership or portal access.

Program and speaker management for admins

1:26 · Video walkthrough
  1. Sign in with Program editing access and open Club areas → Program and Speaker Management. Check Awaiting approval and the speaker list; use Status to narrow the records.
  2. Select Copy speaker form link to share https://bbrcportal.org/speak. Alternatively, use Invite a speaker for a personal invitation link, or Add a speaker by hand to create a draft. Check the invitation result before assuming an email was delivered.
  3. Open the speaker record and check the date, title, presentation description, biography, contact details, photo, and consent. Select Save changes. Select Approve only after reviewing the record; submissions are not approved automatically.
  4. Use Draft introduction to prepare meeting remarks. Check and edit the draft before using Copy introduction. Review any generated Mailchimp copy or invitation and confirmation email drafts before copying or sending them yourself.
  5. Open Tools → Meeting schedule to add or edit meetings and assign speakers. Review the Host script, then copy or print it. The weekly host view displays the lineup and introductions for the meeting.
  6. Keep public meeting programs on bbrc.net. This portal supports internal coordination and speaker intake. Speaker accounts do not grant committee access, and view-only members cannot edit or approve talks.

Programs and the speaker-facing portal

1:56 · Video walkthrough
  1. With Program access, open Club areas → Program and Speaker Management. The Program dashboard contains speaker records; editing and approval require editing permission.
  2. Select Copy speaker form link to share https://bbrcportal.org/speak. This public form needs no account. Invite a speaker creates a separate personal link; check the invitation result before assuming an email was delivered.
  3. Find a talk needing review, open its record, check the presentation and speaker details, and Save changes. Approve only after review. Submission never approves a talk automatically.
  4. Use Draft introduction when needed, then read and correct the draft before using it. Open Tools → Meeting schedule to add a meeting and link a speaker. Review the Host script, then Copy host script or Print.
  5. Speakers can submit through /speak without signing in. For their own profile and applications, they use /speaker/login, select Email my sign-in code, enter the Email code, and Sign in. My speaker account provides Save profile, New application, and Edit application.
  6. Speaker accounts do not grant member or committee access. Talks still require organizer review. Public meeting programs remain on bbrc.net; this portal handles internal coordination and speaker intake.

Committee tools

Membership
Open the Tools menu for applications and visit requests, prospects, individual progress, actions, meeting notes, growth goals, and welcome packets. Review and save changes explicitly; tracker progress does not grant membership or access.
Marketing & Public Relations
Use Announcement maker to paste a member email and prepare editable text and graphic versions. Review the facts and graphic before copying text or HTML, or downloading a PNG for Mailchimp. Nothing sends or publishes automatically. Content calendar and Action tracker manage planned work.
Documents and meeting notes
Open Documents and choose an assigned area to view its files. Upload and editing controls depend on your permissions. Committee meeting notes offer upload or paste, summary review, saving, and archive; review AI summaries before saving.
Directory and reports
Use Directory to find club contacts. Reports are grouped by the club areas available to you. Open a report, choose its available filters, and use its export controls when needed.

Access help

If your account is denied access or a committee is missing, contact the portal administrator at connect@bbrc.net. Sign-in does not assign permissions. For an expired code, request a new one; if Microsoft or Google sign-in fails, try the email-code option.

Video scene frames were reviewed; full-speed playback and real inbox/provider sign-ins were not verified. Recreated layouts may differ slightly from the live portal.
