Speaker privacy and publication policy

What we publish

After a club organizer reviews and approves a submission, we publish the speaker's name, job title, organization, presentation date, presentation title, presentation description, biography, photo and any website links the speaker chose to share.

What stays private

Email addresses, phone numbers, invitation links, internal notes and anything still in review are visible only to club organizers. Nothing is shared outside the organizer area until it is approved.

Photos

Photos are stored privately and shown through short-lived links. Organizers may suggest a photo found on an official website or employer profile, but a person always reviews and approves it before it is used. We do not take photos from social networks. Where no suitable photo exists we show the speaker's initials.

Research assistance

Organizers may use automated research to suggest missing details such as an organization or website. Suggestions are always labelled with their source and are never published without a person accepting them.

Keeping and removing information

We keep speaker records as part of our club program history. To correct or remove your entry, email connect@bbrc.net and we will update or unpublish it.
